The Lahore School of Economics (LSE) is a private research university based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was founded in 1993 and granted official recognition in January 1997. Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry, a McGill University economist who served as the deputy chair of Pakistan's influential Planning Commission, founded the Lahore School of Economics. The Lahore School of Economics will remain a major national and international teaching and research institution/university focusing on economics, finance, business administration, and related fields. The Lahore School will continue to develop future leaders with managerial skills, research capabilities, and academic quality to help Pakistan become a worldwide leader and aid the international community in finding sustainable and fair solutions to the world's common concerns.
The mission of the Lahore School is to provide world-class economics, finance, business administration, and associated undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs. Conduct world-class research in the fields of economics, finance, business administration, and other relevant fields. Encourage students, researchers, faculty members, and professionals to strive for excellence in a collaborative and enabling environment by emphasizing intellectual rigor, creativity, and critical thinking. The university assists in the management of Pakistan's economy and its constituent institutions, which include the government, corporate and non-corporate sectors, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Encourage academics, staff, and alumni to continue their professional development and progress. WBM Care is going to collaborate with the Lahore School of Economics in the future. The 'Main campus' and the 'City campus' are the two campuses of the Lahore School. The main campus, extending over 50 acres (200,000 m2), is located at the intersection of DHA Phase VI Main Boulevard and Barki Road, while the city campus is located in Gulberg 3, Lahore.
The Lahore School of Economics Main Campus is a purpose-built campus that houses the Lahore School's Undergraduate, Graduate, and Research Centers. It includes teaching and administration facilities, libraries, a gymnasium, playing fields, and various cafeterias. The city office is the admissions office for the Lahore School of Economics’ entire degree program.
Entrance Requirements: Applicants to the Lahore School's Bachelors Programs must pass an entrance examination and an interview. The Bachelor’s Programs have entrance criteria of 12-13 years of formal schooling with a maximum of one gap year, as well as the following certifications: I Matric and Intermediate exams with a minimum of 60% marks (ii) An American high school diploma with a 60% IBCC equivalency. (iii) International Baccalaureate, with a 60% IBCC equivalency. (iv) GCE 'O' Level passes in eight topics and A-level passes in three major subjects with a 60% IBCC equivalency. Any Advanced Subsidiary or General Paper, or any other half-credit course, will receive no A-Level credit. Candidates who are awaiting final results or who will be taking final exams in fall 2022 can apply for provisional admission for the Academic Year 2022-23 on the condition that they submit their A-Level results as soon as they are announced. For O-Level / American High School Diploma / International Baccalaureate and A-Level from IBCC, an equivalence certificate will be required.
To create a strategic seamless linkage among the parties in the areas of Learning and Development, Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and other avenues including Consulting Program, Cooperative educational program, Career Opportunities for Lahore School of Economics participants.
WBM Care give preference to Lahore School Economics students for internship, MTO programs, and permanent positions as per the policies.
WBM Care and LSE to collaborate in the niche HR development through Coop Program (A structured Program that blends classroom-based learning and work-based learning converting students into talented and insightful graduates with the ability to think and create value for the organization).
The LSE will provide WBM Care the platform to organize workshops, seminars, and webinars in their domain.
WBM Care to collaborate for their senior management visits at the premises of LSE as Guest Speakers Sessions and Projects Evaluations, Roadmap Adjustments as and when required with mutual consent.
WBM Care will facilitate and supervise LSE students in the selection and execution of futuristic Final Year Projects
The LSE shall appoint members of WBM Care as members of the corporate industry advisory board that will suggest to the LSE the latest trends and needs in the industry which may then be added by the LSE to their curriculum
The WBM Care will offer internships for the faculty of LSE if relevant
WBM Care will facilitate LSE Students for their class projects, assignments, case studies and Orientation (Industrial) visits at the WBM Care premises based on course requirements as and when required with mutual consent
WBM Care will offer hands-on training workshops in its factory/ office premises to the LSE Students to make them more acceptable in the market
LSE will facilitate WBM Care in embedding their brand in the minds of youth through Campus Brand Activation as per LSE SOPs and Rules and Regulations
LSE will offer its premises and students’ presence as and when required for conducting career-related activities
LSE will provide a platform to broadcast interviews of the senior management of WBM Care on the LSE TV Channel.
Placement of Parties’ names and logos prominently on each other’s websites/webpages including social media after MoU signing. Placement may be discussed as per mutual consent
LSE will provide Technical and Management Consultancy, Advisory Services and with mutual consent to WBM Care to optimize business performance through multi-disciplinary, innovative bespoke solutions
Parties agree to develop joint proposals for the development and execution of the Students and Social Development Initiative including Health and Safety workshops, seminars, volunteer work, participation in the green week, and other CSR activities
A group discount of straight 30% will be offered if three collective participants from the industry will apply for admission
WBM may work with a variety of colleges to provide innovative and specialized solutions for your products and services. You can also work on initiatives that will help you develop and establish yourself as a true market leader in your sector. WBM should collaborate with higher education institutions to offer internship programs. This will allow students to obtain real-world and hands-on experience in the subjects they are learning about.
